A Message from Kris Mineau and Chanel Prunier

Keep the Faith

Dear Friends,

As you may know, the Marriage Amendment was defeated today at the Constitutional Convention. The final tally was forty-five in favor of letting the people vote; one-hundred and fifty-one against. Twelve legislators who had pledged their support caved in to the unprecedented pressure by the Governor, the Senate President and House Speaker all who opposed your right to vote on marriage.

We want to thank you for your continuous support and prayers throughout this fight. You have truly been an inspiration to us all. This has always been a grassroots movement of citizens. We have always conducted ourselves in a professional matter. We have so much to be proud of these last few years.

We are not going away. We won't stop fighting until the citizens have had their say. There are too many children that are counting on us to continue the battle.

Our team is looking at our strategic options going forward. You will be hearing from us again soon. In the meantime, do not be discouraged, keep the faith. Our work will surely continue.

God bless you and your families,

Kris Mineau
